We’ve mentioned that the AdThrive team is rapidly growing — today, we are so excited to introduce you to our latest addition! Meet Dave Rowley, our new Chief Technology Officer.
Our top priority is delivering the highest RPMs and the best service to publishers — today and for the long term. One of the ways we make sure we can do that is by constantly working to improve our technology (like the release of Nucleus this year!) and by investing in growing our team and pursuing industry-leading talent.
Our CTO search was intensive, to say the least! We wanted to make sure we found just the right person to take AdThrive technology to an even higher level. But most importantly, someone with our same heart and drive for serving publishers.
Dave brings to our team many years of experience leading agile engineering and product organizations for companies like Ask Media Group and Get Satisfaction, where he developed multiple award-winning enterprise software products in the field of digital publishing.
As our CTO, Dave joins our executive team where he’ll work closely with our CEO and company leadership and provide his strategic input as our top technology expert. Our team growth is exploding this year, and Dave will help us further develop, scale, and organize our technology team around our commitment to innovation. With a focus on data-driven technology solutions for both our publishers and our advertising partners, he’ll make sure we continue to deliver world-class performance!
While tech growth is super important, we’re also always focused on our core values of serving publishers. Dave will help foster collaboration between our development teams and the operations and support teams that serve you each day, to keep everything centered around our company’s heart.
As we head into a new year, we can’t wait to see what we’ll create under Dave’s capable leadership!
Three fun facts about Dave:
- In 1982, Dave worked as an intern for Rockwell International on the space shuttle program. He processed bug reports from early missions. What was one of the most frequently failing systems on board? The toilet.
- He is a native Californian and has lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for 33 years. A father of 3 and soccer dad for 23 years and counting, he and his family are big Bay Area sports fans and enjoy watching their teams in good years and…rebuilding years. Go Giants!
- Whether doing so formally or ad hoc, Dave enjoys mentoring students and young professionals. He loves to volunteer with universities and non-traditional educational institutions providing his perspective on a career in technology.
